Not at all. PlotCraft guides you through a simple step-by-step process. You pick options, upload a photo, describe your idea, and the AI handles the writing and illustration. You can edit and refine at every step.

We currently support three main categories: Kids Books (baby books, picture books, rhyming books, early readers, illustrated stories, chapter books), Manga (shōnen, shōjo, seinen, slice-of-life, fantasy, mecha, isekai), and Comics (superhero, noir crime, sci-fi, fantasy adventure, slice-of-life, horror).

The AI generates your complete story in about 1–2 minutes. Illustrations take a few minutes per page. A full 20-page book is typically ready in 15–25 minutes. You can review and edit at your own pace.

You can upload photos of up to 3 characters (people, pets, or imaginary creatures). Give each one a name, role (like 'sister' or 'best friend'), and optionally describe them. The AI uses these photos to create consistent, personalized illustrations throughout your book.

Yes! After the AI generates the page-by-page plot, you can edit any page's text, rewrite sections, or request a complete regeneration. You approve every page before moving forward.

Each page comes with one free regeneration. If you don't love the art, just hit regenerate and get a fresh illustration. Additional regenerations are $0.99 each.

Absolutely. We offer 15+ art styles ranging from soft watercolor for baby books to dynamic manga shading and bold comic book inking. You choose the style during the creation process.

Yes! You can create a book, upload photos, generate the full story, and preview your title page and cover, all for free. You only pay when you're ready to generate all pages and download your finished book.

Digital books are priced in three tiers based on page count: Up to 20 pages ($20), 21–30 pages ($25), and 31–40 pages ($30). The price is the same across all genres: kids books, manga, and comics.

Yes! We partner with Lulu xPress for professional print-on-demand. The physical price is your digital price plus manufacturing and shipping costs, calculated in real-time at checkout. A digital download is always included free with print orders.

No. PlotCraft uses simple one-time pricing. Pay per book, no subscriptions. The only optional add-ons are extra page regenerations at $0.99 each.

Your photos are used only during the creation of your specific book. We do not use customer photos to train AI models. Photos are processed during generation and are not permanently stored on our servers.

You do. You retain full rights to the story and illustrations generated for your book. You can print, share, and use your book however you wish.

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your account is protected with secure authentication, and we follow best practices for data protection.
